SHAFTESBURY WEDNESDAY LEAGUES

                  

SEASON LAYOUT (FEB - MAY 2017)

TO ACCOMODATE TWO NEW TEAMS WE ARE MOVING TO FOURTEEEN TEAMS ACROSS TWO DIVISIONS. 

DETAILS: 36 MINUTE GAMES @ £23 / 28 MINUTE GAMES (NO HT) @ £21

THE 36 MINUTE GAMES AND THE 28 MINUTE GAMES WILL BE ON ROTATION EACH WEEK BETWEEN THE TWO LEAGUES. 

FOR EXAMPLE - WEEK 1 - THE PREMIERSHIP TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE 36 MIN GAMES WHILE THE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE 28 MIN GAMES. WEEK 2 - THE PREMIERSHIP TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE 28 MIN GAMES WHILE THE PREMIERSHIP TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE 36 MIN GAMES.

CHAMPIONSHIP LAYOUT

All teams will play each other once = 7 games in a season

At the end of the 7 games the division will be split in to two new divisions, with the points totals carried over.

The top division will consist of teams 1 - 4 and the bottom division will consists of teams 5 - 10.

Teams 1 - 4 will then play each other once = 3 games.

Teams 5 - 8 will then play three teams in their half = 3 games.

At the end of the two campaigns, all teams will have played TEN games. 

The WINNERS and RUNNERS-UP of the top half division are then the Champions and Runners-up.

Week 6 of 10

Premiership

Top Goalscorer - M Yeatman - 25

MBOCS remain five points clear at the top as they recorded the biggest win of the night. They stormed past Titus Shambles 13-1. M Yeatman's double hat trick takes his tally to 25 for the season.

Scoregasms keep the pressure on first as they came away with a comfortable 5-2 win over Red Rockets. J Acott may not have got on the score sheet however he played a pivotal role in goal creation for his side.

Doni recorded a comfortable 5-0 win over SP7 UTD which has shocked everyone. 

Championship 

Top Goalscorer - N Hayward - 13

ABCDE F.C remain at the top of the table after they beat Barearselona 7-4. They are looking good for the title however it will be tight.

Skid Bridge remain in second on goal difference after they beat third placed Subblueteo 5-2. Skid Bridge are having a fantastic season at the moment.

Off The Snaff strolled past GPRS FC 10-1 which gives them their second win on the bounce.

Balotellibtubbies held onto a 9-8 win over Expected Toulouse in this entertaining fixture.
