SHAFTESBURY WEDNESDAY LEAGUES

                  

SEASON LAYOUT (FEB - MAY 2017)

TO ACCOMODATE TWO NEW TEAMS WE ARE MOVING TO FOURTEEEN TEAMS ACROSS TWO DIVISIONS. 

DETAILS: 36 MINUTE GAMES @ £23 / 28 MINUTE GAMES (NO HT) @ £21

THE 36 MINUTE GAMES AND THE 28 MINUTE GAMES WILL BE ON ROTATION EACH WEEK BETWEEN THE TWO LEAGUES. 

FOR EXAMPLE - WEEK 1 - THE PREMIERSHIP TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE 36 MIN GAMES WHILE THE CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE 28 MIN GAMES. WEEK 2 - THE PREMIERSHIP TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE 28 MIN GAMES WHILE THE PREMIERSHIP TEAMS ARE PLAYING THE 36 MIN GAMES.

CHAMPIONSHIP LAYOUT

All teams will play each other once = 7 games in a season

At the end of the 7 games the division will be split in to two new divisions, with the points totals carried over.

The top division will consist of teams 1 - 4 and the bottom division will consists of teams 5 - 10.

Teams 1 - 4 will then play each other once = 3 games.

Teams 5 - 8 will then play three teams in their half = 3 games.

At the end of the two campaigns, all teams will have played TEN games. 

The WINNERS and RUNNERS-UP of the top half division are then the Champions and Runners-up.

Week 1 of 10

Premiership

Top Goalscorer - M Yeatman - 7

MBOCS started their season in style as they beat Titus Shambles 18-3.

Scoregasms couldn't have asked for a better start as they beat newly promoted Red Rockets 10-4.

Doni FC started this season with a massive statement as they beat SP7 UTD 8-6. They'll be looking to mount their title challenge again this season. 

Championship 

Top Goalscorer - M Searle - 6 

Subblueteo are looking to bounce straight back up into the Premiership and they started the right way about it as they beat newcomers Off The Snaff 10-6.

Skid Bridge are aiming for promotion this season and their 6-3 win over Expected Toulouse has started them off well.

Barearselona grinded out a 6-5 win over GPRS. They'll be looking to finish in the top four this season.

ABCDE will look to be bouncing straight back up to the Premiership and their 5-4 win last night was their first in ten games.
